Session Description:
Zero energy buildings require new thinking and new and old ways of retrofit, construction and design. The challenge is to integrate: integrate energy efficiency with onsite clean electricity generation and integrate the many trades, disciplines and skills involved in planning, designing and implementing energy-related construction - - whether for new buildings or existing. How important is the behavior of the occupants? This session will explore not just thinking outside the box, but boxes thinking into other boxes for a holistic approach.
